New Watchdog for Immigration Advisers
Description: "Rogue immigration advisers will be forced to shape up or close down with the arrival
of a new government watchdog. From 30 April 2001 immigration advice will be
regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner [OISC].
Immigration advisers who charge for their services and have not been registered by the
OISC will be committing a criminal offence if they continue to give advice after that
