Pauline,

Please forward to IND NASS

MIKE

Asylum support adjudicators produce "reasons statements" which are written statements giving reasons for the adjudication of appeals against NASS decisions to refuse support. Such reasons statements may set precedents which other adjudicators may follow. Accordingly the Policy and Process Team need to monitor them.

Case-workers and managers should therefore be aware that a copy of each reasons statement should be sent to Michael Weir, Policy and Process, 3rd floor, Voyager House. This should also be recorded on the file.
